I'll open it in a virtual machine which isolates your computer from malicious code. And see what happens.

Edit: Looks safe to me.

I wonder if it's a simple recognition issue with Avast, or if there's a little "bug" in GM's computer.......................

I am far from a computer guru, i can only tell you what i use and see. I use Mozilla Firefox for a browser, i run a utility called "no-script" as well as a tracker "blocker" called "Ghostery".

Ironically, when i click this link it is one of the very few times i can open a page with neither a single script or tracker attempting to load. I think the "FRD" link is exceptionally clean from what i can see.

Even hostboard tries to load a couple trackers, when i open the main page of this forum Ghostery instantly blocks trackers from google analytics, and facebook connect.
I stopped using Firefox about 2 years ago. After they kept updating it with tons of bugs it just stopped performing the way I liked.I also tried Ghostery but after noticing a considerable slow down on my PC I uninstalled it.

I now use Opera which runs rings around it... If you like a fast browser try Opera.
